Meet The Team!
Deejay Kaikai -DJ/MC/Event Producer:
Originating from humble beginnings as a financially constrained PhD student, I embraced DJing by borrowing my father's equipment and immersing myself in the scene. Recognizing the void on campus in 2014, I embarked on a journey to cultivate a vibrant community through the power of music, fostering connections and bridging diverse backgrounds in homecoming tailgates, campus concerts, and community events. At the core of my endeavor lies a commitment to upholding values of spirituality, intergenerational wealth, and veganism.
Baron Gatheca - DJ/Photobooth Technician:
Originally from Kenya and now based in Raleigh, Baron brings global flavor and serious energy to every event he spins. With a deep passion for music and a talent for reading the room, he keeps the party going and the vibes just right. When he’s not behind the turntables, Baron is pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering—because he’s all about systems, whether it's the beat drop or an optimized production line. Smart, soulful, and always ready with the perfect track, Baron is an essential part of our team’s rhythm.
Jawari Boyd - DJ/MC:
When it comes to commanding the mic and moving the crowd, Raleigh native Jawari Boyd is in a league of his own. A powerhouse MC and skilled DJ, Jawari brings unmatched energy, clarity, and charisma to every event. With a background in software engineering, he’s as sharp behind the scenes as he is on stage—balancing precision and creativity with ease. Beyond the music, Jawari is a proud co-owner of two thriving juice bars in Raleigh, which he runs alongside his mother. Whether he's hyping up a wedding crowd or serving wellness with a side of hustle, Jawari is all about impact, presence, and purpose.
